This exact thing happened to me today. I had red CT and it started saying critical damage. I only ever remember getting the alert after armor was stripped. Could be a calculation bug for Urbies?
Not exactly. I think it’s just a calculation bug between armour quirks and skill nodes. It tends to be more noticeable in mechs with high armour quirks and armour skills (the Urbie is a perfect example), so I assume it’s related to the “critical warning” not calculating armour quirks being modified by skills correctly. If it was just missing armour quirks or just skills, it would be obviously off every time.
Alternatively, perhaps it just goes off when you have <1 armour left, so it still shows red on the paper doll. I do notice it more on heavily armour quirked mechs though.
I should note though that I have never seen this affect internals incorrectly, so obviously the “paper doll” and crit calculations are done at the correct time, it’s just the warning that goes off a little early, so really not that important.
