Given the fact that assaults are the best performing weight class, what seems more likely?

That assaults are bad or that you are bad at playing them?

This is a pretty ****** thing to say. But lets break down why its garbage.

Abisha: 2148 games in total. 65% overall in an assault. 1396 games in an assault roughly over your lifetime.
ASH: 11578 games in total. 32% overall in an assault. 3705 games in an assault over his lifetime roughly.

For someone who wants to stat shame, you certainly dont seem to understand how stats work. We all understand you arent having a good time in assaults, but you being angry about it doesn't discount or render irrelevant the input of dozens of other people here, all insisting there are ways for you to improve your game. Introspection is the mark of a good player. If you can't or wont change your own game, you deserve what you get.

do you understand the difference between the stats of five people and the stats of tens of thousands. Assault mechs perform better overall across the entire playerbase.

Like are you being purposely obtuse here or do you actually not understand? Clarify so you can save everyone some time please.

1. Go to this section Guides & Strategies or to this section Assault Mech Builds.

2. Start a thread there.

3. List Assault 'Mechs you own and loadouts you run on those 'Mechs.

4. Discuss the viability of your 'Mechs.

5. Discuss whether loadouts of your 'Mechs can be adjusted.

6. Discuss if your tactics can be improved.

Man, you suck at stat shaming - 31% lights, 25% Assaults “mostly use lights” - ooooh, what a difference! You’re trying to make it sound like a bad thing that we actually have experience in all the classes that we’re talking about

I’ll reiterate what I said earlier though - if you’re convinced assault mechs are hard done by, don’t just complain about it, go where the grass looks greener, try the other classes, and it will hep give you perspective.

Meanwhile, I one-shot a Mist Lynx today. He stopped at the wrong corner. AC20, triple snub PPCs, first shot of the match, straight to the CT, he ended up with 0 DMG. Now that, I felt a little bit bad about, but that’s the light life for you.

but fact remains you have a opinion about a class of mech that you hardly played less then others
if you play like 60% or more then your opinion had a lot more value

Can confirm - even with their (slightly less now) egregious armor overquirking, the Meth Linux life is a life of paranoia and incipient panic. I've grown to love that stupid little machine-gun-splooging booger, but man - one ****-up is all it ever takes and you're down an arm and missing half your armament, down a leg and about five to twenty seconds away from being out the match because nothing attracts a feeding frenzy like a legged light, or missing the whole-*** 'Mech because I got drilled through the middle. Catch the right fight and the Meth Linux can be downright oppressive, but it's real...real...easy to catch the wrong fight and end up a pizza stain instead.

It doesn't matter what his preference is if he's played almost three times more matches in an assault than you.
