SO. Set-up.
Playing my new Ebon Dragoon on Old Frozen Night, Assault. I'm the last 'Mech alive on my team because nobody bothered to pay attention to the 3+ callouts of "MAIN ENEMY FORCE PUSHING THROUGH C3/B3, STOP FIGHTING THE WEENIES AND SHOOT 'EM". The remaining enemies are a mostly-dead Hunchback-IIC missing one shoulder and with a dark orange CT, and an Atlas somebody on my team has called "open right shoulder" on. I have four SRM-4 launchers with very little ammo remaining. Four trigger pulls, in fact.
I go after the Hunchie first, figuring I can kill him easy and then if I run out of ammo against the Fatlas, I can at least run away and drag it into a draw, or beat the Fatlas to a base cap and hope we win. I go dive on the Huncback, try a sideswipe blast because he's still got a functional UAC/20 and I want none of it...whiff. Non-kill damage, knock his CT down to darker orange. ****. I've got so little ammo left I can't waste more shots like that, it's time to woman up and stare Death in the teeth or go home.
Second attack run, spend an extra half-second to line up the shot...and boom. Hunchback down, now it's 11/11. I have twenty-nine SRMs left and that Fatlas is maybe a hundred meters away on the other side of this old frozen Motel 666. He's a brawling monster beast, LB/X-20 and something like sixty Merms...but it turns out he's open on all three torsos, not just the shoulder, with a yellow CT. Hmmm....
I circle around a bit, don't go for an immediate run-in - Senor Fatlas is expecting that and likely has his guns pointed at the opposite corner of the building I just juked him behind. I'm down to half armor or less on all my bits and my legs are wide open, I cannot afford to give him even a single half-*** shot. So it's jukes for a bit, confuse the Fatlas some so it doesn't know precisely where I am and he has to reactively aim, instead of crosshairing a corner.
I un-juke, go find the Fatlas, go in for my first attack run. Sixteen SRMs, take an extra whole second to aim while jumping over a surge of BLYAT...knock it down from yellow to mid-dark orange. Shiiit. I have thirteen warheads left. Roughly 0.8 shots. I get one more trigger pull. I dance around a bit more, on account'a the fact that both my legs are wide open and this thing is a brawling monster. More jukes, more confusing his aim and not letting him pre-line up a shot. Find my angle, start going in for my attack, punch the jets to soar over its opening alpha strike strike, line up my last eighty-odd percent of a shot as carefully as I can, pray to Robot Jesus...pull the trigger. Send my last thirteen SRMs.
CT blinks out. Atlas explodes, falls over. 12/11 victory with an out-of-ammo, ~45% integrity Mist Lynx the only survivor.
**** YEAH!!!
More'n half the team is "******' TIGHT", "Beautiful", and other such "holy **** that was legit" comments. Best ******' match of MWO I'm gonna have all month. So friggin' hype I could dance, if I was capable of dancing at least. It's moments like that I play the heckin' game for. NNNGH, so good. I may be an absolute dogshit player, but **** that moment still made me feel like a right and proper ace. The ~550 damage, four killing blows, and pair of solo kills didn't heckin' hurt, either.
Fuggin' love the Meth Linux. Dumbest little 'Mech that makes no god damned sense, absolute gobshyte terrible in tabletop and for most of the last eightish years since it's existed in MWO, but man. The stupid little booger is so much fun now. Go get you one, it'll treat you right.

Hard won matches are worth celebrating esp when you have an ammo-dependent mech/build. Nice jump jet judo. I have one of the myth lynx and it is a good mech and omni's give it tons of options. Although I love me is lights if I must go clan light the lynx is it as it as urbie level armor when skilled up.

Matches like that where you have no idea who's gonna win until the very last shot are fired are the best. They're even better in MWO, where they're so rare simply because of the nature of the game and how it mechanically works. heh, I wouldn't even have been mad if I'd whiffed that Final Stand and either didn't finish off the Atlas or got shot down myself, because at that point whoever won had earned it. Heh...just so happened that this time, I was the one who got to walk away with the absolutely legendary (to me, at least) tale of Robit Glory. In another world it woulda been that Atlas driver, and in a few worlds we woulda Double-K.O.'d with a mutual trigger press, him dying to my final thirteen warheads and his godawful clustershot-of-screwery nonsense scouring both my legs off.
Any way it coulda went down, it was a hell of a match.

Had one like that myself last night.
Sole survivor in my BSW-1 took down a King crab with my lbx10 for the win.
My first ever 12/11 game saver.
The feeling is great still!!
Congrats to you.
