Godzilla vs Megaguirus

A new weapon is created to defeat Godzilla, an artificial black hole. When it is tested, something happens, and a little boy finds a huge egg. He is about to get rid of the messy thing when an elderly woman yells at him so he dumps it into a drain. This results in a spawning of huge insects, and after a couple human snacks later, they are discovered. A city floods, and the bugs take flight and go after Godzilla. He roasts several, but a huge queen so takes after the big guy. Gotta feel sorry for the city people, just when they think it's safe here comes something to turn their lush life style into ruins.

Some foul language, suggestive elements, and monster violence. Perhaps one of the better modern day Japanese Godzilla movies.
