No, but it has a large indirect influence on the PSR change as damage seems to be the main driving factor. Less/smaller weapons often equals less damage than others in the match.

Without the Team table, it is impossible to judge your performance relative to the other players.

I don't screen shot matches. For one thing I use a Track/IR which works in MWO and my "center view" button for it overrides my button for screenshots. Let me see if I have a recording still.

This is why I wrote that the weight class "has no direct influence". Posted Image

A you have noticed, the damage dealt to enemy 'Mech is very important part of your Match Score a and thus your PSR change. As the rule of thumb, the damage dealt to enemy 'Mechs is a half of your Match Score.

Heavy and Assault 'Mechs have it often (much) easier to dish out a lot of damage and earn good Match Score. Posted Image

A MS of 300 is very good, but if 9-10 players in the match had higher match scores than you did, your PSR will go down.

Personally if I'm in the cap zone, my ECM is set to Counter to try to detect those pesky sneak pokers that try to stop the cap timer.

Personally would love to see the games revolve more around completing objectives and less around wiping out the competition while ignoring said objectives. I mean, I love a good brawl as much as anyone, but sometimes the game just needs to be changed up a bit.
