Nor sure what I'm missing.
Own a BAS-E and a BAS-E(S).

Seems as if the BAS-E has less armor than the (S) variant.
For example, I see max Center Torso armor for the BAS-E at 129 and the BAS-E(S) at 116.

Do you have more skills unlocked in the survival tree on the E?

Skills maxed on BAS-E. Not on BAS-E(S). Was unaware that skill tree adds armor. Will look.
