The matchmaking has been pretty ******* terrible ever since you relaxed it to +/- 2 tiers. Now that people had time to get distributed across the tiers, how about tightening it back up?

I would suppose its this way because math.
The majority of the player base is Tier 3, and I believe it has been described that there are more T3 players than there are T1 and T2 combined. if you cut T1 players off from being able to play with T3, then the T1 players will not get matches.
The change that needs to happen is to better account for high Tier players in groups, as that is what is letting them encounter T4 and T5 players.
