I watched No Guts No Galaxy streamer cry about how this game has 4 years left, the 2022 roadmap is basically empty, and there are no resources or vision.

There is a way to fix this.

Open up the game to the modding community and let players host modded servers.

You will finally see what you have always wanted and more with this game.

We only have 4 years left, what do you have to lose PGI?

PGI is now only a Human Talentressorce for EnadGlobal 7 ,CEO Russ sells his Dreams and Studio and EG7 says whats PGI doing in the Future, and thats not MW5 and im thinking nothing with BT/MW and more LotR and other EG7 Projects

PGI likes to keep the complete control over the game.

Have you seen any sign that EG7 will treat MechWarrior Online differently?

EG7 is continuing to fund development in LoTRO with paid for and free expansion material continuing to be released and publicly planned for. That's the big difference, one system is being supported for continuing development the other throws offal badged as development; the disparity is down to the original developer's and their passion to deliver a product that is fresh and engaging to all of its audience, not just the favoured few.

You can't save soon to be abandon ware. One day people might hack it or what ever to get it working online again and you'll find it on those web sites for such software for gaming history/archival purposes. Good luck getting such old software to work on current gen tech when that happens.

Pgi didn't give a dam and so far eg7 contimues that trend of just mech sales/events to get money as long as people keep buying the ecm/power creep. At least now the cptl-a1 can fire all srm 6s with no gh and kgcs can finally fire both ac 20s at 300m without 80-90% heat.

Community modding could probably do a lot of good things. But at this point I think I'd rather just have a brand new game completely detached from anything and everything MWO.
