i tried playing with a group of 5 earlier and we all are in the tonnage limit but it just says max group size exceeded. is this a bug or did they change it cause ive played with this same group in the past but now we cant.

yea it sucks man ive had the same issue i think they changed it cause it was an advantage playing with other freinds. maybe theyll change it where your just teamed up against better players or make a game mode for it but it still sucks

After the merge, the max size is 4 in QP. There hasnt been a Group Only queue in Quickplay since mid 2020.

The upcoming Event Queue may sometimes support larger queues. I hope they will have regular and scheduled times when it is just regular "group play" like we used to have. I don't play in groups other than occasionally with my brother but for those wanting group queue, it would support it...
