Not to "lay it on thick" but it would be fair to reset the Tier Level to pre-patch ratio, after you guys fix all this. It really seems like Survival Skills are not doing anything. Some mechs feel very light on structure and armor, blowing up prematurely.

Tier system is highly biased towards losing, and stingy on advancing. Who even knows if it even matters at all. But never the less, reset would be appreciated.

PS. Still thumbs up on cleaning up the Skill Tree!

I too find that system highly unpredictable. Well, I mean it punishes you way more than it rewards you, thats for sure, but when it does what, is hard to predict.
Also it only shows three states, would be nice to have like five states that for example show whether you did exceptionally good or bad.
Not to mention that it also punishes you for being in a genuinly bad team haha. Now I wonder if it weights your results against your teammates and rewards/punishes you for how you did IN THE ENTIRE TEAM?

Or paradox - the more fun you'll have the more likely it will put you in the red. That's why I stopped caring.
Just thought to bring that up out of fairness.

Actually I have the impression that the matchmaker thinks that I am TIER 6, as it usually put me in teams with GREEN Cadets which gets beaten badly most of the times.

I think some sort of HANDICAP, for thouse which win more than 67% of their games, would work better than this borked tier-system !
This handicap should not affect the tier system, only the matchmaking, depending on how many of the last games your group or you have won. And it should reset each day, or when the members of a group change.

Currently I often have loosing streaks of more than 23 losses in a row, which is a not acceptable failure of the matchmaker, which in my opinion should try to build teams which have a chance of winning 50% of their games, preferably alternating between winning and loosing without streaks longer than 3-7 !

Maybe I'm wrong, but it seems to me, that the matchscore system is broken.
I conducted an experiment - I didn’t shoot anywhere, just missle destroyed with AMS

Result:
0 dmg, 1 assist (???), every other little thing, and 395 missle destroyed.

Im certainly not the first one to pout it out but you managed to meet up the qp matchmaker totally!
You can either be in a team of newbies/tier 5 or a team with 6 tier one players against those newbies…
No balance at all.
Furthermore - and I wrote about earlier - after this update people seemingly care even less about team play!
Overpowered light mechs on solo-hero-killing spee,
Max dsp assaults hiding and sniping,
single alphas from mediums enough to stipe away 4-6 tons of amor over impossible distances,
Than the guys who headshot you in the same split second your leave cover, 87 degrees from the side over 1400m,
did I ask if someone else recognise the exponential increase of critical headshots the last 2 weeks,
People even get shot through walls…
The whole game mechanics supports more and more toxic competitive gameplay, 23 vs 1.
Your last answer? We have a solid playerbase, we don’t need to listen!
But those player’s, people of the beginning of mwo are the ones I talk about this kind of problems.
They all agree - something is weirdly wrong about mwo.
And thweaking mechs and quirks will make it even worser!

FIX THE MATCHMAKER!

And when you introduce a event queue, why it is so far from canon or even reality?
Are you looking for the last-man-standing-esport-players?
Are you see the implications?
A new player has to face high competitive tier 1 and also toxic teammates?
How long do you think they need to 1) apply the behaviour of other “successful” ( more damage, less team play)
or simply 2) deinstall the game?
Why not introduce a killmode: 23 vs 1 to please them and keep them away from the social players?

Last but not least ( just my curiosity):
How did you manage to mess up the Grafix, game performance ( 1-3 seconds freez if anything enters the screen ), matchmaker, sound and charset if you just changed the gui ( colours ) in the mechbay?
Is my pc now Bitcoin farming while I’m playing?!
Tranceparency?
In my opinion is no update even better than a bad executed…
But all updates ( and tweaks ) are pointless if you don’t tackle the real issue: matchmaker!

I had the same experience before the update.
Without doing anything I got kill assists.
But I’m more concerned about the big jumps in my pilot ratings:
I turned on my pc total just to see that my rating bar lost ~ 20% even though the results of the games are instantly shown after a match is over…

Can confirm Matchmaker kinda broken, since i just recently had Baradul in my team and we lost!
Means most of our team was T4/5 probably (me included).

Unless that just means theres not enough top tier players for a match so it has to spread them into the lower tier player matches?

Same here.
But after some chatting with actual tier one players it’s obvious:
The matchmaker don’t care about your rating anymore.
It puts you 30 in a row in Team potato ( even cadets can bring a good performance but … )
against tier 1 and ultra competitive players ( in vipers and mist linx of course )
A 12 to 1 kills lose is the best you can expect.
Annoying, frustrating, even without evidence for false play, exploits and even cheating

Nope. The tier 1’s I talked to have the same problem - silly and devastating games against cadets and tier 5…

No, “lobby destroyed” as long as there is no event…
But honestly: unlimited ammo&JJ’s? Is this fortnite? Encourage everyone to become more and more toxic?

Dear PG, with all respects.. but its looks like you have some problems with testers. now clanner loyalists dont get part of fun(( , cause they cant switch side easy - they will lose reputation points. why testers dont check this moment before? just few clicks to find it.

They way it works: you on a sucky team? = you suck,
Exception: you did REALLY good(went places, conquered, shot at everything, assisted, flanked) ... hauled weight of your team ... then you get the green
