Hi I've been playing with the crusaders and against it, I think most people notice a huge weakness for most crusaders and that is the best way to weaken the crusader is to aim for the arms on most of them, the reason is that they have too much of their fire power in their arms that people are not aiming any where else except the arms, reason is that the arms are super easy to hit and you can hit the arms in any spot for it to count as an arm hit.

I believe they need do this for how most crusaders that have most of its weapons in the arms, is give those ones more armor in the arms for how people are deliberately aiming for the arms especially if they see the 6T, that one really does need more armor in the arms for I don't know anyone who are not blasting the arms off of that one.

It's even worst when lights don't mind charging them either for too many lights are not even afraid of most crusaders for how they are also deliberately aiming for arms on them and just leaving them as sticks, for its a fair trade when you stripe a crusader down to only 1 weapon with a light that they practically did a fair trade with a 65 tonner before they go down.

I do think people won't be using most of the crusaders after they do the events for them, for whats good is bringing a 65 tonner mech and have its arm blasted off so easily that you wonder why you even brought it to quick play or faction play to begin with.

Until they fix the armor in the arms for the crusader 7L, 6T, 5K, CRAEL, those ones will see less play all together, the ones that will see the most play will be the 5M and the 3R, for the 5M you can literally do the hero quickdraw build on that one and it works great.

For the 3R most of its weapons are located in the side torsos so losing your arms doesn't hurt you all that much if your running the 6 srms 6 with or without artimas.

I do want to use the 7L, 6T, 5K, and the hero CRAEL but it's no fun when you're barely 3 minutes in the game and people are already focusing your arms just to weaken you before you can even do anything

If you try to say well wait till the enemy comes to you for I have done that but don't forget that they don't have to charge you head on they can go around to find you, and when they see your side or back your arms are still expose no matter which side they look and they just put a full alpha into that arm before they back off and do it again, for its hard to spread damage for your arms for no matter how you twist your arms they are still one big component.

I'd be OK with an arm-our increase, but I've been finding that my beautiful crusader thunder thighs attract far more attention than my arms do. Those legs are ludicrous at attracting fire, more than any chicken walker i've piloted. One of the only mechs where I haven't used the legs to save tonnage.

I've generally found that my arms hold up mostly fine. If I lose them, it's typically at a time when my torsos are open anyway and I'm trying extra hard to shield - which means they're kinda doing their job, imho.

They also need to pop off their armor and transform into Veritechs.

My main issue with the Crusader is the side-torsos. They can't take much punishment even with the arms shielding them.

Agreed. The torso armor buffs are in a good place, but the arms are where most of the weapons are and can be hit from any angle.

Beside the armor needing buffed, have anyone else find that it is really hard to get your pilot skill not to go down with the Crusader. Now madder how well I do, even with a win, brawling, solo kill in the same game my pilot skill goes down.

Not seen that, no. I've had some nice increases with the 3R and the 6T, but the others I haven't found a good build on yet.

To me, it seems the CT draws more damage than anywhere else no matter the variant. It feels like damage just funnels to it, despite torso twisting to spread damage under fire. I was stoked to get the Crusader, was one of my all time favorite TT mechs, but I've soured on playing it on here already, and have already returned to my preferred (non-Crusader) mechs for play.
