I just played a match where, I guess, I was hit by major lag, I was disconnected from the server and when I logged back in, the game told me the Lobby was destroyed and I got a time out penalty.
I was chasing a mech when the lag hit and suddenly I was a whole grid off to the other side of the map (behind me and over an entire ridge). I thought the other mech was lagging because my shots went through his image.
Earlier today a full half of my team got DC'd and so did the enemy team.
What is going on??

Greetings Mechwarriors,
As I am writing this I have just been dumped out of my game client with a crash.
I was never in a game in this session.
I was looking at a Battlemaster-3M in my Mechlab.
Got a message that the connection to the server was lost.
Had to exit game.
What is going on here?
Anyone have any ideas?

I JUST HAD SIMILAR HAPPEN TO ME, AND IT'S ONLY BEEN HAPPENING SINCE THE LAST GAME PATCH... THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE OR TOLERABLE!!! PGI, FIX THIS BLASTED JUNK NOW BEFORE YOU START LOSING PLAYERS!!!
EDIT (2022-06-29 @ 4:12 PM UTC) :: Pardon the All-Caps from before, had to fix formatting too. Ending up with my Mech getting murdered without being able to defend it due to a wrongful disconnect that I was not the cause of has a very nasty effect on me.

Since it seems to effect only a portion of the playerbase(no issues for me or the majority of those in a match) its probably isp related on a hop to the servers. You can use pingplotter to find the point its lagging out but you need the server ip address and I'm not sure what it is. Support might be able to say.

See thats the thing, it happens to me. I can not describe what I do to recreate it as it happens randomly. It happens not just when a match starts, but while loading. Sometimes it just happens, to happen. I have already tested my ping, but it seams fine. As no other game has any problems. Nothing else has problems and I know for a fact it was not on my end. As it did not happen till after the Error 13/Crusader event went live. Before hand I could alt tab, or change graphics settings or do some odd ball stuff and the game would not bat an eye. Now it seems like if I blink my eye the game throws a random conniption fit and crashes. IT actually did it less when I had 4k resolution instead of 1920-1080. The only problem is my tv does weird stuff with res over 1920-1080. But thatis beside the point,.

Have you tried running the repair tool from the launcher? Could have been a corrupt patch.

I’ve had some weird crashes the last week or so.
Oddly seems to be different every time - in game, in mech lab, in testing grounds. Mostly the game just locks up but have had a couple of blue screens of death.
However only maybe once a session then it’s fine.
Looked through logs but nothing stands out.
Tried reinstall, patching etc but no joy. Doesn’t seem to impact any other games. Odd.

Tend to find BSoD is linked to secondary drivers.
Have you had a graphics driver update recently? The lack of optimisation of MWO to newer cards can cause issue and a roll back to a previous stable driver may do wonders . . .
Other than that, check your PC for dust build up and reseat your RAM. If you are brave enough, stress test your rig with SiSoft or other similar utility.

Guess I should add to this as well. Ever since the Crusader patch I too have been experiencing random disconnects while in game, whereas I have never experienced them before. Something is definitely amiss. Wish I could provide more info., but they are so random it’s hard to narrow it down.
