Honestly I'm doing well, demolishing people with my Broiler. But i do 800 to 900 damage, still lose, IDK why.

Thats not been my experience. While laservomit is still the favorite, I see plenty of SRM bomber builds and MRMs either solo or paired up with 400-500m energy weapons.
maybe they’re not to your liking, and I get that, but plenty of folks use them.

ARCTIC WOLF ACW-PRIME 175 103 72 1.43 275 98 2.81 97,141 362,776
19:28:49
All those stats are noticeably better than my average stats across all mechs, by the by.
Same thing with my CPLT-A1, 6SRM6A/JJ
CATAPULT CPLT-A1 63 37 26 1.42 100 36 2.78 32,784 123,705 07:53:33
And just for comparison, here's an MRM Wolverine (varied between MRM40 and MRM30+20). This is right in line with my career stats across all mechs.
WOLVERINE WVR-7D 41 22 19 1.16 45 21 2.14 18,614 67,821
04:53:54
I am not such a good player that I can make literally anything work. These are all just builds that use SRMs and MRMs well and I know a little bit about how to play them.

My point is cheating in this game is so pointless that when people like you make posts about it; we laugh.

I'm sorry, I'm not understanding this. I'm responding to the contention that SRMs and MRMs are not good by using examples from my own play where I've found success with them. What are you trying to say?

I am merely stating what the meta and weapon balance currently is. What is favored by the majority and what the changes brought about by the Cauldron balance pass was.
Sure you can take any system and make it work if it suits you and you play it well.

then what's the problem?
My main problem is the oversaturation of PPCs battlefield. They change the dynamic of the game completely. It makes MWO slow, standoffish and yet with very high PPFLD emphasis. Very little exposure time to ones mech with maximum pinpoint output.
If you like this play dynamic, great.
The Cauldron didn't make the game more balanced, it just shifted the game balance to minimum exposure long range ppfld.

the patch immediately before the cauldron one made CERPPCs absurdly overpowered. I played brawling into that almost exclusively out of spit and had the worst month of my MWO life, statistically.

That's true, that's when it started. That's also when a few prominent MWO streamers stopped playing too. I liked the weapon balance the most exactly before that patch.

The ISmpl and Cerppc were just completely dominant, IMO. That and I seriously don't miss seeing an ATM vapor eagle in the good majority of my drops.
