This has probably been suggested many times ,but i suggest a consumable that repairs or rearms your mech to 50% more than it is say your down 50% ammo you use the rearm consumable and your now at 100% ammo the repair consumable does the same fixing your mech for 50% of it's armor.....

While the repair consumable will likely need some balancing, I don't see a problem with the rearm consumable as stated.
