please do not mess it up.

do not over-nerf the snub.

do not complain about the snub.

enjoy the snub and all the gifts it brings.

enjoy the weapons that complement the snub.

if you do not like brawling feel free to keep your distance, if you can.

admit that you were board with the erll meta and that it was another playstyle's turn to shine.

the snub is a bit OP but I think the heat/heat scale nerf will tone it down a bit while still keeping it as a good option. That being said, SRMs and red lasers and the like have been good for quite a while now!

il concede that it might be a little op, but hurting its position as a brawl weapon is a thing that should be avoided at all costs.

To me one more point of heat to make it not so cold on the lights and mediums and a heaping helping of ghost heat to dissuade the main offenders of heavy and assault boaters. Leave the rest as it is.

I think snubs are fine where they are. light mechs are just to small is my issue, and wild urbie groups are irritating as a t3 player.
my solution in game is to play a style that either out dps' snubs which isnt hard to do. or just stay out of range.

A haiku:

Sawed off projector.
A discharge of particles.
Learn to love the snub.

I don't think it's worth it, when it's only the snubbies that enable it, and right now they are broke AF.

Why not make it so with other weapons? Medium lasers, SRMs, the works.

Snubs should have their splash removed. Otherwise they are fine.

I think SNPPCs are well-balanced the way they are. They don't dominate the battlefield in my experience.

I agree that snubs have re-invigorated brawling, I think though that its more about the interest they brought as opposed to them being overpowered. I have seen a surge in my being killed by heavy PPC's lately as well, which can only be attributed to a general resurgence in PCC interest and not in snubs being apparently OP.

Personally I only have snubs on around 8-10 of my 300 mechs so I definitely don't see them as a complete game changer; they're just now not basically junk.

If they do get nerfed noticeably I will likely just swap them back out for large lasers, which even now are much more versatile and numerous on the battlefield.

9.5 damage and it won't make people mad that it deals 10 damage compared to an autocannon 10
