the quick play drop deck allows a player to pick two mechs to use in a match, only one can be chosen after the map has been picked ,but this would allow slightly more flexibility for players, while not being as big as a normal 4 slot drop deck.

So like when you know what maps are chosen, and would like to choose a mech better for the map?

I see, would be nice, like have a long range and a short range mech for options.

i thinking it's more like you pick two mechs before you launch and you choose one of the two to use just as the map is picked.
