There is a 'Mech trap on the upper level of the central are of the map on the intersection of sectors D5/D6/E5/E6, grid reference 3996.8 - 4386.3 - 379.6 (see the marked spot, please).




The spot seems quite innocuous from the player's point of view.





'Mech just about to enter the 'Mech trap.




Vertical rocks just in front of the 'Mech ...




... and the slope behind the 'Mech is too steep to allow for backpedaling.





Suggested solution: Close the 'Mech trap with a plain flat plate to make entering it impossible.
