super autistic of me to point this out ik but skip to the 40 second mark and have the video play at .75 speed. The beat and tempo are EXACTLY THE SAME as the og mwo menu music. I was wondering if wargaming was in any way involved with us.

menu music for reference; you can sync both of their audios perfectly! It's as if the fellas at wargaming just straight up hit the 25% slider.

It's not exact but very close. There is a lot of crossover between the player base for these two games so it wouldn't surprise me if some of the wg employees play mwo.

Or licensed the same music? Or had the same music tech working for them at different times?

ah the glory of stock assets. making games boring since forever.

radio voice calling us soldiers instead of mechwarriors. yea i bet there is a military shooter (perhaps more than one) with the same audio samples.

yes but its mechwarrior online, not mech desk jockeys online.

and the point i was trying to make is that they were stock sounds in use by multiple games.
