When will streaks be returned to the battlefield?

What's wrong with them now ?!

I love my Streak SRM 2 builds with TAG and some PPC or even BAP to hunt Light Mechs and protect my big slow Mech Brothers :D

streaks were used for seal clubbing pretty much exclusively
seal clubbing is even harder when groups are included in 'solo' que

glad the streak nightmare is over

Please tell me more! :)

Fine, drop tonnage but increase damage per missile, otherwise your iconic LRM mechs become useless e.g. Catapult and Archer that were designed for high missile number delivery.

Those two are EPIC when using MRM missiles so please... PLEASE... PRETTY PLEASE : Just forget those crappy LRM things completely and fight with some honor! ;)

Also planning a SRM build with the Archer 5W in the future which should be very effective! :D

Yes, of course! Either in a Pirate's Bane or the designated Atlas with ECM, 400 STD engine (full speed tweak), MASC, at least 2 AMS and a massage chair in the cockpit.

With Clan Mechs the quirks are limited to SO8, if you change an omnipod the quiks are gone

Some quirks are tied to specific OmniPods. Even if you break the So8 rule, your 'Mech will still keep those OmniPod-specific quirks.

Case in point: observe how grouping all of the Nova omnipods with a missile hardpoint stacks the ammo quirks, so you wind up with just over double the ammo for the tonnage actually equipped, even though the set-of-8 is broken.

That is a good point.

Unfortunately, the Black Hawk is not an especially great SRM brawler.

Also, personally I would remove that Clan Active Probe and I would put one ton of ammo in its place. If I am running an entirely ammo-dependent loadout, I must be sure that the 'Mech will never run out of ammo. Posted Image
