I have to admit, on Halloween I was evil: I gave out toy flutes to sugared up little kids.

Not quite THAT evil really, and possibly very good... Sure, they might be up late making one heck of a noise after the child's parent(s) finished making sure your musical instrument(s) are clean so nobody gets sick, and safe to use well into future years. But with that said, you potentially just single-handedly helped with creating the next generation of kids who are interested in making entire new pieces of music for others to enjoy. Plus, starting with an item like that now also helps them learn some of the ropes on how to operate an instrument in order to create a proper sound, and not always some ridiculously useless raucous noise. That also helps keep a section of the World Economy up and running. Well done!
