Imagine a Mechwarrior title spin off as a twin stick shooter.
Still moving with WSAD, still aiming with a mouse, but from a more top-down perspective.
Think in the vein of Riftbreaker. Base Defense and Breaking Rifts - Let's Play The Riftbreaker Brutal Campaign Part 1 - YouTube

It would be cool af to fight through a destructible cityscape in a twin stick shooter with mechwarrior physics and rules... and the viewpoint would allow creative changes for the ways things like Jump Jets and LRMS work mechanically.

Obviously, it's not exactly Mechwarrior, so it would preferably have a spin off title to clearly set expectations.

They were looking for a new pve angle and this could be fun if done right. Make it both pc and mobile and if it catches on with the mobile crowd then cash would flow like water if properly monetized for that platform.

Can you imagine if PGI started making mobile games and brought their concept of monetization along?
