The Holograms are standing items, the Medallions are hanging items. They are only equippable on Clan mechs (but there's a corresponding set for Inner Sphere)

Without any matchmaking, this isn't fun for me.
The event could've been interesting, but someone didn't check the numbers to evaluate how many components you destroy in a solaris match. For me, the mean number is at <1, no way I'm doing like 80 matches for that.

I really like this 2 v 2 event. Having it be 1 v 1 on a Friday night (EST) is a missed opportunity. Playing 2 v 2 with my friend on the weekend would be great. Put the 1 v 1 mid week event queue would be better in my opinion.

Event rewards are not automatically injected. Have not been for a while. Get to the in-game event browser and redeem them.

Shame Gauss can't fire fast enough to overcome whatever they're backing the flamers up with.

Or, more appropriately, everything else should be slowed down to match, and preferrably slowed even further to better reflect their original 10-second cooldowns. (I really think DPS should be normalized to the 10-second cooldown via whatever combination of damage/cooldown is deemed appropriate).

Love the event, as I love Solaris in general, however the queuing has issues with hitting people. I am syncing with friends all of similar tier at the same time to duel them and it's just leaving us searching for long times for no reason. Maybe something to look into.

Edit - Also, I hope there will be a way to bring back the Solaris 7 assets like Duncan Fisher's voicelines and things like that. It'd be a waste to have made the assets otherwise. Same thing like for old terra therma/caustic valleyand all that.
