Windshield Wipers?

The novel implementation of windshield wipers would have these following effects on gameplay as far as I can tell.
1. Atmospheric effects of different biomes influencing player controls adding a unique control feel to each map.
2. Rounds impacting terrain creating debris splatters rewarding proper suppression, shot height placement, and terrain shots.
3. Weakening of the weapon height meta allowing mechs with lower mounted weapons to at least get some suppression when fighting a high mount mech.
4. Weakening of the laser meta and adding to the value of projectile based weaponry from suppression effects.
5. Increasing the value of UAVs allowing the suppression of mechs that are close to exposing.
6. Visible damage to the windshield after structure is exposed rewarding cockpit shots and discouraging unarmored cockpits.
7. Forcing pilots to be more careful with terrain as crashing facefirst into a dirt wall or snowbanks could obscure vision.
8. Making floodlights useful for visibility.
9. Lance mech diversification actually being a good thing.
10. Manual control of the wipers at the highest levels of play for timed clarity when exposing.
It doesn't matter if it's some futuristic clan auto wipers, adjustable speed wipers, manual wipers, or all of the above, any implementation of wipers and debris would be a huge improvement to the immersion and feel of Mechwarrior.
I do realize PGI is most likely unwilling or unable to fulfil any community suggestions, but as a lifelong fan of the franchise it is worth hoping that someone that cares will hear our calls eventually.
Inb4 Mechwarrior turn signals, griefy mechwarrior horns, or options checkbox autowipers.

Also it's probably something you could implement in the MW5 system, just need to badger them until they (or a modder with some network programming skill) moves the game over there.

first id want natural terrain.
id want a control system that makes joysticks viable.
then id want more realistic jump jet implementation with controllable thrust vectoring.
then id want actuators that respect the laws of physics.
then id want an mwll style electronic warfare system.
then id want a more viable time of day system complete with night vision modes that dont suck.
then add headlights.
then a dynamic weather system.
then deformable terrain that can splatter your cockpit with mud when someone lobs a shell at the nearby dirt.
then maybe wipers start to make sense.
game would need to be a completely different game first.

... For a single player game, for this arena shooter I would hate pretty much all of those things OP proposed and oh yeah I have my cockpit glass disabled because it is annoying.

But yeah, windscreen wipers should be real high up the list.

I compare the swords in the game to the swords in the movie

It could actually be a good season. if well planned.

we used to have dynamic day/night. but it caused performance issues and they turned it off. i think they should have set it up where you just randomly set the time at start and keep it there so it didnt have to re-draw the g-buffer every frame. but the pgi solution was to just disable the feature.
mwll got this right. especially that map on the asteroid that spins so fast you alternate between a fridged cold map and a steaming hot map several times through the match. complete with pools of liquid that would freeze and thaw with the cycle. that was something impressive. it was also low gravity and you could do some good flying on jjs.

A lot of things can be done on cryengine difficult but doable.
time has changed. used to be when the game debuted. computers are old.
is that so now?
