Was curious if trying to get a Collector Park is worth it for the Special variants?

Also is there ever a time you can earn one or purchase them individually?

I just tend to grab a Complete Collection that omits special variants since it tends to collect them all at a great price.

These ones? It's just the heroes and line of free mechs w/bays. I can't see the value myself, but if you don't want to grind the c-bills I guess maybe.

1 Special Variant with custom Pattern, and a +30% C-Bill boost

- PIR-1 (S) < this one

Are these "Special Variant" mechs worth it?

I get the Collections I just noticed the specials and was curious. Hard to find much info on them by themselves.

Specials are like hero mechs. 30% c-bill bonus on a lot of them. The champion (c) ones get you 30% xp faster on that mech only. Look at the in-game store too to see if the one you want is listed by itself and on sale. I usually wait for 50% off sales.

Other than the cbill boost and custom camo its the same as the cbill mech. They sometimes come with non meta fits so you have to rebuild them after purchase.

As far as pir go this one is probably the meta fit atm with the lmg buffs if you don't want the camo or cbill boost.

Basically a no drawback 400m optimal rac2 with hitscan along with a 30 point laser alpha.

Not having to be in knife range to be a buzzsaw is crucial in this mega alpha meta we have going on.

If you want the camo and/or c-bill boost, then sure. I'd suggest running a c-bill version first so you know you like the way it plays.

I don't believe there is any other way to get one unless they randomly give it away for an event.
