The loading times are terrible, 5 minutes of play followed by 3 attempts to join a game at 5 mins each = suck!!!!
Not sure what you did to the wait times to join games, but it needs to be fixed.

agreed. group load times are terrible. can't keep playing if this keeps up

Solo drops are very quick yet for medium and lights.

Maybe the problem is your group mech/weight distribution? If you drop 2 lights or one of each weight instead of all heavy and assault it would probably speed up. Heavy and assault queues are usually in the mid 30% range each so even if you drop solo the valves may need to open.

Weight is not an MM factor and has not been for years. Server, tier and group size is all that factors. People turning off the servers that are busiest will slow drops. Tier 3 will have the shortest wait time, Tier 5 and 1 the longest. Groups of 3 the longest wait time, then 2s and 4s, then solos the shortest.

Sure seems as though the random few times the medium % is above 30 that the wait is substantially longer (in the several minutes range), when its at the normal low 20s it's less than a minute.

On that note, I don't see why groups of three should have longer wait times than groups of two. Can you elaborate on that thought?

My understanding is the MM tries to balance grouped players. A group of four can be balanced by a group of four, or two groups of two. A group of three can only play if there is another group of three in queue in the same tier bracket, and there is no gate to allow them to play unbalanced.

I don't think that is the case. 3-mans and 2-mans can be grouped alike on the same side and that can be as balanced against a 4-man as 2+2.

loading the game off of a gen4 nvme ssd helps. except then you got to wait for everyone with slow storage to load.
