Different mech types perform at varying levels based on map choice.
E.g. Brawler mechs have a better environment on the Solaris city map. Whereas Sniper and LRM builds struggle by comparison due to them notionally requiring range to be better optimised.
Also from a realistic point of view, you would be more likely to drop in a mech suited to the environment/situation.
The idea to help resolve these issues is to create a drop deck of 4 mechs you can select one from "after" the map/scenario choice has been resolved.
(Apologies if this has been expressed many times before. Also, I realise that the quick queue launcher may load things in a certain order (i.e. mech first) which could make this more of a technical issue to resolve based on the current process.)
