I Think this is total BS considering the dang thing doesn't have lower arms. The shoulder and upper arm actuators were enough.

It was supposed to have them. Otherwise, it can do loadouts like 5AC10 or 3LB20X+SRMs which are way too powerful. Its already a ridiculous mech.

I have a cyclops sleipnir with 4x lbx10's in the torso. Point being that a mech that doesn't have lower arms don't need a ******* lower arm actuator.

Whose arguing for the sake of it? The people who designed it intended it to have those actuators to take up slots so that it doesn't run those loadouts so that it doesn't become a Pay to Win game breaking disaster. There's no ambiguity here. We know exactly what was intended. Several other Madcats have lower arm actuators as well. There's nothing unusual about this.

So just to make sure I understand this, I no longer can run the 6x UAC2s? I understand balance issues but why even make something purchasable than change the aspect of the very item you bought. Maybe I'm missing something hopefully I'll figure it out or just make a new build all together.

No you can still run 6UAC2+ERPPC. Just not 5AC10 or 3LBX20.

You used a mech build that uses ST slots as an example for something needing arm actuators. You don't get to be throwing shade calling someone a fool here homie.

His point is that, if look at the model in game, the Madcat MKII should obviously not have lower arm actuators as it doesnt have any elbows.
However, given that many mechs already exist which have lower arm actuators where they arent visually appropriate (including at least 3 MadCat MKIIs) and the fact that omnimechs lose them when equipping ballistics/PPCs despite still having elbows, its fairly obvious that actuators are used by PGI as a balancing mechanism, in this case to prevent certain builds they dont want to exist.
They were upfront about the missing LAAs being a mistake immediately, so Its pretty much just a case of OP crying about no more 5xAC10 build*
*i did think.. wait, you can fit 5 AC10 on a Dire wolf.. but you cant fit enough ammo without being able to take endo steel.

My suggestion do a hot fix and put it back the way it was who the heck needs actuators the take away 4 slots from your load outs?

If you actually read, all I asked originally was what was the problem with invalid loadout. I clearly was not crying about 5xUAC10s which I have not done nor was going to do. I had fun with original build/loadout upon purchase and came to find out I had to fix it due to the devs mistake. I did not see any posting about the Lower arm actuator being missing as a game breaking problem nor was there a popup upon loading into game clearly stating what had happened. Problem is the game devs giving the ability to purchase something and making it not usable from original purchase without clearly stating what is going on. It doesn't explain what to do or what is wrong while in the mech lab.

try 3 AC10 + 2 UAC5 same damage, requires just one double tap
or 3 UAC5, 3 UAC2
or 3 LBX20 + 1 ERPPC
or 3 AC10 + 2 UAC5 + 1 ERPPC if you can handle the heat,
then ask for a refund. it's not that difficult to write an email to support. support is very forthcoming when people ask nicely and don't act like entitled little shits.
2 slots not 4
Nice loadouts for the Moonwalker, thank you for sharing. As I originally loved the original loadout I had some small changes done with mine. I dropped 1 jump jet, dropped the ER PPC for an ER Large Laser. That left me with a better damage energy weapon just different style on shooting it. I was left with some leftover tonnage so I increased the engine to XL 320 for a max speed of almost 60kph without adding skill points to it. All in all its fun to rain down 6xUAC2s.
