*EDIT* Nevermind, figured it out.

This actually sounds like a hoot, but guess I missed it? Just tried QP with an Urbie and ended up in a normal match with random mechs. Is there some alternate method to get into the special event queue?

Like others are saying, I really like the events with modifiers, and the more impactful they are, the better. It changes the game play and it's challenging.

This was fun! I only got to play a few rounds, didn't know about it until tonight. Finally had a decent round once I adjusted to the slightly different playstyle and hung real tight with the team (and the rest of the team pretty much stuck together in an awesome murderball).

Swarms of flying Urbies is definitely good for some laughs. Watched one round where the last guy was soaring to the heavens to escape, and actually landing some pretty good shots with a PPC.....until he flew off the map and landed outside the walls.

So the Urbanmech R80 is listed as 50% off, but it's still 1.4 million. Think the Sale is broken.

I liked it the two times i got in but 10+ minute waits to find a match and then having to spectate the entire match to completion without being able to start a new search with a different mech just isn't worth it.

thanks for the event, i had fun even though it was just standard play mode at the time. i was hoping for unlimited JJ. in the future maybe put the patterns, colors and bolt ons on sale too so people could make the urbies look wacky too.

it was fun with everyone with variants of same mech. perhaps more with other lights or mediums like kitfox or hunchback derby.

please, if you get the chance could you put all the colors, patterns and gargoyles in an upcoming sale?

I had a great time! I thought it was a really fun, silly mid-week pickup.

I agree that it was a bit annoying having to wait out the rest of the match when you die before jumping into a new match. I don't think I encountered any other bugs or issues personally.

^I think their intention is to do such an event monthly. Or at least I hope it is. There should be 4 of these events a month. The 8v8 with drop deck we're already getting, Solaris, Wacky Wednesday and then FP needs some sort of event. 4v4 Scouting or 8v8 Invasion could be fun.
