One major problem I have with the Legends branding are the "so-called" Legendary Mechs. The branding itself can be justified since this game existed for 11 years now and there are quite some stories to tell from this game. But my main problem with the legendary mechs is they have no lore behind them nor a backstory to tie them in with the lore. After all the words "Legends" and "Legendary" imply something or someone that is traditional, and these mechs are not traditional. However, this is a golden opportunity to continue the path of hero mechs while still bringing the mythology of those mechs to MWO. After all there are still some mech variants and pilots who have not been given the type of love that the heroes haven't got yet and you can still use the pre-existing chassis in order to do this. After all, what’s the point of calling these Legendary Mechs if they are not Legendary? Here are some examples of chassis and personalities that could be made into legendary mechs. These Legendary names are just examples, but you get the idea.
