I'm sure this info is somewhere here... but I'm unable to find it at this time. I see the "My Media" button, but I can't find a way to add media.

Can someone please explain how I can upload pictures?

You can't. People who post pictures here link to images hosted elsewhere, such as popular image hosting sites or their private servers.

I use my discord server to load the images up.
Note that you need a link that ends with a proper file extension, like .jpg or .png.

According to imgbb's front page, they don't allow hotlinking for free accounts and free accounts have a storage cap.
imgur doesn't care about hotlinking and free accounts don't have any storage limits.

Nothing is free my friend, if it promotes their own website, they allow you to see the image.

It's sufficient for everyday use, in my opinion.
