I love playing my NARC raven and everytime i pick it people get happy about the extra vision since so few people play NARCs, but my skill rating almost always goes down after a match with this mech, regardless of how well i play or how much vision and intel i give my team. Since im more scouting focused i dont usually do any more than 150 damage, but i feel like all the vision im giving should count for something since it usually helps win games.
I know NARC kills get counted, but its almost never enough for even neutral points. Perhaps every NARC could count for a little in and of itself? It just feels discouraging to play a support mech and have people be so glad about the vision while getting actively punished by the games rating system for doing so.

The sad truth is that NARC is of little use in the Quick Play.

Equip your Raven with more weapons.

To be honest, you often don't win games 11v12, even with a little intel. You NEED to deal damage, even if you're in a narc mech.
(especially now that there are a lot of ECM on the field, if you don't prioritize your targets well enough a marked mech can hide under the bubble of another, and basically your narc means nothing)

That being said, I support the suggestion to give stuff like target narced or missiles destroyed more points.

This is extremely untrue. Distributing WiFi is incredibly helpful for teams, because its a stupidly powerful effect that prevents a mech from peeking for a minute at a time (unless the player is suicidal) for the cost of one missile that has almost no impact notification and can be launched from a stealth mech.

Based on how useful it is, It should be rewarded better, but i do not want that to happen. Its far too powerful (well, lasts far too long), imo, and the only thing stopping it being a constant pain in the *** every match is the lack of personal reward.

Also, im fairly sure you can fit a pair of snubs with the Narc, so its not either/or on the weapons front.

(The LRMs arent the issue, its the red box)

You know what's really bad? you don't get bonuses for a tie which RARELY happens

Anyway if they want to push teamwork they really need to increase the value of team actions like narc locking uav detection and so forth... i'm mostly talking scouting rewards ,but all team related rewards really should be higher.

the sad truth is that teamwork in quickplay is very lacking.

Of course it is. Teams in QP are transitory and therefore inspire little to no loyalty. While i do obviously want my side to win and try to help that happen, in the end, personal performance is considerably more important to me than team victory.

That changes when im grouped with my unit, because i know those people and have loyalty to them.
