Many of the maps are large but most of the area goes largely unused (at least in QP) because the spawn points / objectives funnel players to the same spot every time.
Altering objective and spawn locations has the potential to dramatically change how a map plays in a large number of ways (changing domination circle locations being the most obvious one).
We aren't likely to get dynamic spawns/objectives for a number of reasons, mainly the ability to program that but also it would be hard to balance and youd end with unfair combos.
Which leads to my suggestion:
Make multiple copies of every map, call them Terra Therma A / B / C / etc, and have the only difference between the copies be the objective / spawn locations. This could dramatically expand match variety for what seems to me to be very little effort or resource expenditure.
