Good morning,

there is a problem, that occured on my computer yesterday afternoon and eversince then. Yesterday noon everything still worked fine, which is weird, since there have been no changes to either the computer nor MWO in between, that I know of. There only was a Steam update. The computer was turned off for 4 hours, (Ryzen 5 2nd Gen, Vega56, fyi).

The CPU usage is constantly at 100% even before starting a game, resulting in huge lags in the mechlab, in the store and ingame aswell. Even the news banner is showing these lags at around 1 fps if even. The Launcher is working fine, so is every other program, that is running on the computer.
MWO is the only program running, besides Steam, when these lags occur.

Do you have any idea, what could fix this?

I have tried to reinstall Steam and MWO so far.

I would contact support. Repair tool, would be my way, but the reinstall should do basically the same.
