Clan - Viper VPR-F(L) (medium) mech how do you sell it? its not showing up in my mech inventory

Its a very good mech and you can't get the (L) version with the special skin and c-bill bonus back once its gone. I suggest keeping it incase you become interested in it later.

i really wish they wouldnt do this. due to some quirk of fate i ended up with two loyalty vipers. id like to sell one but keep the omnipods, but they will only let you remove it entirely and you got to bug support for that. makes more sense to reward players who spent money on the game with content they can do with as they please, including cashing it in for the mech bay and equipment. free players can cash in their monthly reward mechs without contributing to their salaries.

They did this because so many people were selling irreplaceable mechs without realizing what they were and then complaining.

like a popup warning could have done that, rather than remove the option to sell.

Never sell Loyalty mechs as they are usually some of the best in the game..

Just change some omnipods and have a different build?

yea, thats what i did. its more a problem with my spreadsheets than anything (problems having one set of stasts for two mechs). but it is nice having a hmg boat and a more sensible lmg + laser boat. i think this viper is still my top rated mech (assuming one of the legendaries didnt push it out) so there is at least that.

The UI is made in an ancient version of flash. Its really difficult to work with and does not have convenient features.

even older ui libraries had this feature. they had this when i learned programming back in '96.

Keep them. you might want two vipers in a drop deck someday.

I'm pretty surprised anyone would want to get rid of any Hero, Loyalty or other special mech; even if you get C-Bills for them it's basically nothing if you play the game quite a bit.

And the Viper F(L) is honestly one of the best mechs in the game, period.

I've for some reason got two of the centurion (L)'s, don't like centurions at all so one or two extra mechbays for something else would be alright.

its more important for me to have a variety of mechs than dupes in my existing inventory. i can only use one mech at a time. i sold both recent hero mechs because i already had one of each. there are still about 60 standard variants and 41 heros i do not own, and i need the bays.

Allow me to mention the Wolverine-7D(L). I have never seen one in game outside of Shi77y mech Wednesday. It is garbage. The potential to apply JJ and Masc to it does nothing to overcome the obvious superiority of the uber quirked Centurion D or just about any other mech in its weight class. The 7D has always been crap and unless the Cauldron decides to give it quirks on par with the Cent D, it will always be crap (yes, you can run a deadside MRM build on it but there are several other mechs that you can run a deadside MRM build on or similar loadouts with better quirks). It is one of the few mechs that is on par with the Panther 10P in terms of being a complete waste of a player's time when compared to other mechs of similar capability and/or weight. It is the only mech I have asked PGI to remove from my inventory and never regretted its absence in all the intervening years. Keeping it in your inventory is a waste of a mech bay (Btw, when PGI has removed (L) or other special mechs from my inventory in the past, they have never taken the mech bay that the "free" mech came with).
