Have you tested the game without ECM? What happens? I think the ECM makes the game boring, there could be something better to limit the vision. How can a 100-ton machine get behind you undetected?

i was thinking this these days, so many years playing this game, the maps are already irregular terrain, we already have limited mobility for most mechs, so why do we need ECM? Sometimes it's like playing a game with mech ninjas popping out of nowhere at your side.

What? No! And that's what BAP and CAP are for. Without the ECMs the Missile weapons will dominate .

Also it isnt a ig deal unless used in conjunction with stealth armor and/or a fat moving light mech.
