How to pick a side in this Faction Play event?
Yesterday I had been automatically assigned to the Liao while I was playing the last Jaguar vs Ghost Bear match. So I was playing for the Jaguar faction (left), and was assigned to the Liao (also left).

How to pick or what to do to pick faction myself on the last event stage "Steiner vs Clan Steel Viper on Tomans"?
Because I must pick the clan side to finish the Kodiak objective progress.

on the left of the factionplay tab look for faction details. find the faction in the conflict that you want to play for and choose it through that menu.

"Select Faction" menu has been enabled (onlocked) after that . I will w8 until the next stage and try to pick the Steel Viper side.

Dispite the Faction was not choosen, I have been automatically assigned again, luckily to the clan side.

ya, go below select faction and below inner sphere map. theres a tab called faction details. click on it.
itll ask if you want clan or IS. pick the side that you want to be on.
then find your faction. when you click on your faction itll ask on the bottom if you want to see the faction details. you do, click it.
then click the "select faction" button. congratulations. you just changed factions.

If you're a clan loyalist, you always get assigned to the clan side by default in a Clan vs IS conflict.
When it's IS vs IS would you be able to select who to fight for.
In Clan vs Clan, you always get put with your own clan if it's an option.

Probably that worked. I've picked Jaguar clan and was assigned to Steel Vipers

As mentioned in the initial post, I couldn't pick (between Lia and Davion). And the choice was disabled. I was Kurita loyalist those time, and probably was assigned to Lio because it was the first (left) of two in the menu.

Maybe Evil Kerensky's remedy would re-enable the menu, but I have not tried.
