Executioner-B

This is Clan Burrock's original design of the Executioner. It literally looks the same as the one we all know and love from TRO 3050, except it has a smaller XL engine and less jump jets. Stock it comes with 47 tons of pod space.

According to the BattleTech writers who made this 'mech, it was inspired by the description of Vlad Ward's "Executioner" in one of the novels, making that configuration fully canon as a configuration of Clan Burrock's original Executioner. Clan Ghost Bear just made it faster and jumpier at the cost of pod space.

That's how cool the 'mech is - it makes smiley faces on its own Posted Image Link fixed in the OP anyway - thanks!

Actually I think it's an acquired taste. In canon, it was made before the Dire Wolf and Turkina were a thing and was the highest-podspace omnimech available until the Dire Wolf came out after the year 3000. For table top people, if the Dire Wolf or Turkina are available, those are probably better choices than the Executioner-B, but if they aren't, or you like Executioners, or you like having 47 tons of pod space available with a little jumpyness and more armor than an Awesome (which are quite well-armored), then this takes the cake!

Spirit Walker is just a Black Knight turned into a clan omni no need to make a new model Thor II is just a summoner without JJ's so another easy to add mech.

The Spirit Walker is a Black Knight turned into a Clan omnimech, yes, a Clan Coyote project.

The Thor II/Grand Summoner looks distinctly different from the original Summoner:

It similar to the Dark Age design of the Summoner

But we can still use the MWO model, just need to work on the arm models not much for the imo.

Edit: the Grand Summoner Prime is just a Summoner F without the JJs

I really don't get what people enjoy in Executioners.. a fat medium that is easy to kill and need to be in knife fighting range to equip anything.

EXE can wield normal Laser vomit eez with good amount of DHS, it is very fast and agile for an assault mech.
If I build same 2xLPL+6xERML to HBK-IIC-A it has 8 less DHS and has less than HALF amount of armor than Exe.

But sure it is easy to kill if some clueless T5 pilot is in the mech.

I can just imagine the front page tagline now. It could be either of...
  • Shut Up And Take My Money
  • We are probably going to get canned for this...
  • The Clanner's Trash Can!
  • You Asked For This...
  • Clansman's Rustbucket
  • Enjoy Being Uncanny!
  • I Am Not That Slow!
  • Grammatic Contractions Not Needed
...or of course something totally NOT listed here at all. That said, I would be happy to see the "UrbanMech IIC" arrive in MWO since the I.S. has theirs. :P

Nobody uses them like that that i've seen.. maybe its tier thing but 99% use in your face builds and get dropped in seconds.

Might be tier thing because all I have seen really are mid or long range builds.
I have tried this exe-ch... it was pretty much waste of MC even on 50% sale, on paper looks pretty formidable but not that good in reality.

I just ran atm's on mine, play as a big skimirisher and try to pick up some nice damage and skirt off when noticed.

Here is a simple on, take a Mist Lynx, flip the arms upside down, scale it down to a 20 ton size and remove the jump jets.

The lower torso and legs are the same. Firemoth's torso however different vastly than Mist lynx's. And Firemoth is even slightly bigger.

But yeah, give us the Firemoth!

How about Marauder III?

There's also lots of clan tech versions of IS mechs that would use the same model, but be Clan.

You mean the (C) variant (not to be confused with IIC) they're just standard SLDF mechs that was retrofitted with clan tech and even then they still have IS tech putting these variants into mix tech.

I don't see why this should exist... the strength of the executioner is it's ability to move around quickly and reposition/potart. If you remove it's speed to 48.6, I don't see what it would be doing better than any other assault.

It's probably the best assault mech in the game. For most players I'd imagine they wouldn't know how to use it, but in the hands of a top player, it is exceptional. The high mounts and MASC allow you to be extremely maneuverable with a decent payload. 4 large pulse, 2 erppc 6 spl 6 er micros are two of the best builds for this mech. The former just runs around the map at 700m farming people while the latter wins trades for free by poptarting and also doubles up as a dangerous brawler in close range with the laserfist. Combined with it's high speed and agility, it can be the most versatile mech in the entire game that chooses when it wants to fight.

I how would it be bigger when it weighs 5 tons less?

Anyways, most of the same assets can be used, probably with less changes than the Charger/Hatamoto Chi

Biggest issue will obviously be a lower top speed than cannon, but that just means more weapons.

I still remember the first time I played it, in MW2 Mercs, right after the "Escape in a Tank" mission, if you were lucky enough to salvage one, if not... replay the mission until you did.

Best Assault Mech is a Marauder.
