Did something change with heat disapation rates? I don't recall reading anything about this getting nerfed, but I was trying some configurations in the testing grounds and noticed the mech was taking forever to dump heat. I tried some of my usual mechs to get a baseline and they seemed to heat up but not cool down as well.
Is this just my imagination?
Is it just a testing grounds issue (like the crazy LRM behavior)?
Has anyone else noticed this?

There is a rare heat dissipation bug that crops up now and then were dissipation drops to almost zero. Also the testing ground maps have some issues of their own since its not using the same simulation as when running on the live server.

Thanks Meep. I went back on later in the evening and everything seems normal again. Phew! I was worried my build was gonna be way too hot.

Its a bug, very rare, I saw it several times in 3 years. But one time it was 2 fights in a row.
Restarting the game doesn't help. Better not play some time.

You could be choosing a map with high temperature and not even notice it. Its not just the Terra Thermas, things like Rubelite are also hotter.

environment heat got nerfed years ago. Its like 5% of its original value; technically there but not in any way that's meaningful.
