Greetings and hail to you champions!

Yesterday one of my dreams came true: I successfully bargained a zellbringen in MWO!
Note: "Zellbringen" is the honourable one-on-one duel of Clan warfare, a true form of engagements mirroring finesse instead of barbaric shot-what-Ima-see things...

So, it did happen! And it was cool!
I knew since the beginning I would lost because of the bargain or batchall: I named the place of the duel and my opponent named the mech I should face: Crusader Crael (against my ATM-boat Summoner G)

I hope that were not the first and the last time of Zellbringen! I enjoyed it much and wish to fought some more in the future!

...

Just remember myself to use mechs able to shot things closer than 60m, right?

I saw this once at the end of a FP match. We were losing badly and had just one drop of mech left and not a lot of time left. Over chat, two players decided to do a 1-1 duel for fun. This was on the map with craters on one side so they went in while the rest of us watched on the crater's ring.

Never rub another pilots ZellBrigen.

I've had a few good 1v1's in quickplay.
Its pretty fun to get an honorable duel in the midst of chaos.

When someone else interferes, expect wrath and quick vengence, and big fat middle finger for those who do not honor the code.

My name is Star Gigolo Richard Fitzwell of Clan Homoerotic Panther. A full trinary of my leather clad warriors stands ready to hit your clubs and drink all of your vodkatinis. What forces dare stand in the path of our might?

Knocking on the wrong door, freeborn. Try either in the FedSuns or the Chicktracy (they could even offer far more pervert things than you could imagine)...

I sometimes issue batchalls in FP but so far I were neglected. Nobody wants a "free kill", I see...
Otherwise such duels are cool, you were lucky to watch one!

I hope I could pull Zellbringen more often. :) And those whom brake the code deserve punishment...

Is this like when kids used to say "1v1 me bro", but you've put a fedora on it and said "m'lady"?

CGBI did it a fair bit back in the day, mostly in FP, but if a match was already decided one way or the other, it would be offered.

Many times it was accepted and was a fun end to a match, but a 3rd party would occasionally ruin it.

Hmmm... I think clan-sense of humor would be rather strong or like of the drow's: someone must hurt or such...
Dunno...

Chicktracy what in earth is that

Magistracy of Canopus. Being a matriarchy (chicks rule, males are second grade people, funny stuff Earth would learn a whole lot) sometimes it is referred as Chicktracy...

Not sure I understand it albeit I could translate the whole sentence easily... Deeper or symbolic meanings perhaps?
Or a choir of confused daleks: EXPLAIN! EXPLAIN! EEEEX-PLAAAAIN!!!

Next time I want to use my 4xcER-PPCs Rifleman 2c (IIc formally) for such a duel. A devastating build but have serious issues with heat and low-range maneouvering-brawl... Challenge I think?
