Earlier this year, it was mentioned that new weapons would be added, which is cool for that would mean a real shift for the gameplay or and actuall change beyond simply tweaking already existing mechs and weapons.

I think Clans should get an expansion of their Missile variants. How about Streak LRMs? How about Clan LRMs get adjusted to behave more similarly to IS LRMs? Notice that the reduced arc of Clan LRMs makes them less capable of hitting targets that are behind cover than IS LRMs? And anyone else come to the conclusion that the streaming of Clan LRMs is less optimal against AMS than the swarming of IS LRMs?

Or how about HAGs? Gimme my HAGs!

Just tested LRM systems in a Lobby with unit mates, can confirm that Clan LRM15s get obliterated by a 3xAMS KFX-C at 300m - while IS LRM15s can still punch through the 3xAMS to hit with part of its salvo. Also, the higher arc of IS LRMs are indeed better at hitting a target behind cover than the lesser arc of Clan LRMs.

Agree agree, but I'm pretty sure the clan LRMs behave differently depending on the distance to the target. I think something beyond 500m should see them fly in a pronounced arc, bit for a target between 200m and 400m should see them fly with an slight arc, but not sure.

I do like that there are differences in performance between the Clan and IS variants of weapon though, ot add to each side's personality. Lore friendly or not.

That for direct fire damage, indirect fire will of course have them fly in a very pronounced arc and spread the most all over the target.

In general IS LRM are indeed better for indirect/direct fire due to the salvo being packed tigh during the their fly.
