1 vote for new "PinkVision" mode added the game since it's so much better than either nightvision or thermal.

the prroblem is pgi cannot fix this bug in a way that sticks, likewise would be unable to implement pink mode for nvidia users.

some of the literature seems to insist that magnetic sensors are also available which can sense large masses of metal (read: mechs). so light amplification (green), infrared (grayscale), and magnetic (pink) would be 3 sensor modes.

but for this to work light amp would have to flare when it sees bright things and give everything a glow, infrared should flare when it sees hot things and glow to indicate mechs or environmental heat sources, and magnetic would flare if someone fired a gauss rifle or ppc and a glow coming from the containment system of mech engines.

of course thats just me wanting to relive the awesomeness of avp games.
