It's not only a Scaleshot thing, it's with all mechs with JJs.

Jumpy mechs deal with this crap all the time. Hell last night I got killed from getting stuck because it ramped my speed up to like 500kph then slammed me to the ground. Blamo no more legs.

Yep Stuck-Slam is super annoying so much leg dmg.
This is also annoying, also has massive amount of leg dmg.

I get those super jumps if you jj up to a ledge and hit the ledge at a certain angle while the jj are active. It acts like a freaking rocket booster. Getting good enough to replicate it and its come in handy a few times to escape.
