Don't see any need to adjust binary past fixing the hsl. They are still overall less efficient than clam heavy lasers given how clams can boat so many sinks.

Reportedly hag will get a dispersion buff making them stronger at range and xpulse are getting some sort of damage buff.

Too true! Some people are better adapted to light or medium play style, others to heavy and assault and then there are the ones that can play them all equally well. I personally prefer to play lights. I like the fast and agile mechs, but I have been trying out the SR-6 and OMG! The firepower and heat it generates! I got surprised by a mech coming around a corner and alpha'd all my lasers. *BOOM* Cooked myself! The assault play style takes some getting used to. You also need to skill it up. Start with Armor Hardening and Skeletal Density.

Don't give up on them just because you aren't used to playing them.

A dispersion buff is the very last thing HAGs need. If anything I'd move 'em in the opposite direction and make 'em more spready. If you want pixel precise point&clicking, use a standard gauss.

A cauldron leak also stated it would get an increase in the duration between shots too. The biggest complaint so far isnt the spread its the quick volley of shots like an autocannon.

Do you mean cooldown between shots for the entire weapon or between single pellets leaving the barrel?

no no no hags don't need any change they don't need to be long range weapons..... they are perfectly fine... why can't they leave stuff alone? if you want snipy go for large lasers gauss or ERPPC

Hm. I can see a duration increase, but I don't know that a spread adjustment is needed to counter it. I'd keep the (honestly, pretty tight) firecone as is, and see how the gun feels when it isn't such a fast burst.

OP I totally understand, I still haven't bought MW5 but I bought a pack and gave it to a streamers channel
and I bought a hatchet man when they started recognizing more loyalty rewards

From Tiyos directly. Binary will be getting the clam heavy large treatment for duration. Seems the stats are safe overall past fixing hsl.

Dispersion on the 20 will be increased. The 30 will be 'rebalanced' mainly longer time between pellets and tighter dispersion along with a heat nerf. 40 is still being worked out but overall nerf.

So extended burn time from 1,15 to 1,45?

Was hanging in ASH's stream this morning and Tyios was grouped and we all had a nice long discussion on sept patch. No specifics on numbers but binary will be similar or same as clam heavy large duration. No word on specific hag40 changes since its not all that much used and its still being mulled over but so far overall nerf since the few mechs that can boat it are overperforming. The 30 is the standout so far since everything can either single or dual mount it and be effective. ASH was pulling in 1000 damage games with a 2x hag30 gyre all morning and giggling like a kid the entire time.

edit: oh and the geeram config was a topic and its 'being looked into' on the veggie removal setting but don't hold your breath since its a very popular config now. It really is a good config because it does give you very fine control over your settings and can either make the game super pretty or dumb it down for pure comp play. No one has mentioned the n64 mode either.. Posted Image

HAGs being too good would lead to the extinction of UACs. Posted Image

No worries even after the changes they will be strong. There are a few uac/hag combos that sync very well together and ironically the changes will sync them up even more. I was watching them run a stone rhino dual hag/uac combo and hooo boy was it farmer bob.. Posted Image

I like them, fairly high mounts
and I can mount heavy gauss on one of them
