did the Spider just get wings?

on the main page the background graphic shows the Spider and now it has the signature wings...

my Goggle Chrome thumbnail for MWO clearly shows the jumping Spider with no wings, so did they add the wings in?

I hope so!


(although the 2D drawings of the Spider in the Mechs page still doesn't show wings)

You can't see the wings from the 2D front view because they're in back, gotta see the angles to notice the curves

yeah I get that the wings might be laid back in the 2D view... but the Spider image on the main page did change right? it has wings now and it didn't before

I'm not going craz(ier), right?


on edit: the Spider image on the main page did change... it's a totally different variant than was pictured when it was showcased in the flash splash... and it does have wings now... woot!

No you aren't crazy. There was a thread complaining that the spider didn't have wings like in the concept art. Apparently the devs heard this and made the change to appease the masses. Good eye.
