pretty much. sometimes one team is just a bit better at turning damage into a kill then the other, and since each kill snowballs, that slight difference can turn into what looks like a clean sweep, even when its really not.

To me, the definition of a stomp should include both teams' performances; not just that one team killed the other, but that the losing team never had a chance to fight back; that means there should be a damage/armour imbalance, not just a kill imbalance.

Ah, classic MWO Matchmaking! About a year back i had taken a break for...well about a year or so and i was tier 1 when i left, When i came back i was tier 4 or something wild. So now im remembering what matches used to be like, at first i thought it was refreshing...never telling what was gonna happen on each match or on each map. Tier 1 you know what the enemy is probably gonna do. and your team. Noob tiers, there is no telling what everyones gonna do.

it wasnt refreshing for long lets say that

Yeah, I recently moved from Tier 3 to Tier 2 and there is a significant change in wait times for solo drops. And an immediate change in match intensity. Not convinced its as fun as Tier 3, but its only been a few days....

Solo T1...

It literally takes 10-15 minutes sometimes. Occasionally, watching YT, I'll forget I'm even in queue "oh I have to play MWO now". Its pretty bad.

I've considered deliberately nerfing myself to T2 just so I can get faster times, but that would take too much effort and would be no fun and also hard to maintain.

yea i can concur, when i dropped out of t2 i immediately noticed reduced wait times.

want to drop tier, try leveling a bunch of trash mechs, you will fall like a rock.

What time do you play?
I'm tier 1, I play both solo and grouped, and never got longer wait time than few minutes, like one or two.

That's a good idea, but I'm afraid it'll turn into a chore to have to do trash mech runs to keep the PSR down.

I play EU servers, peak EU times are okish and after peak when the US people get online its also better. EU mornings are atrocious and afternoons are really bad too.

OK. I also play EU evenings and nights, but rarely in the morning.
That being said, if you play on EU servers only, that might explain your extra long waiting times. You should include NA servers, the ping is decent enough even from Europe (except maybe if you're from eastern Europe, idk), that should lower the wait time (most of my games are on NA servers).

I think there's voice lines that refer to ACs and MTs as mechs in the game. Its not really formal, and they aren't officially called mechs, but its a generic enough word that I think it can be used. Battlemech certainly couldn't be used, that is pure battletech.

The games are (sometimes) more tactical and less chaotic.

Kick the groups out of the solo queue, should fix the issue of one team melting into 0 - 4 in three minutes…

Well I assure you it wont be a problem anymore, because the game will be dead. Cant have problems with the queue if there is no queue.

Honestly that game looks ******* awesome.

AC6 is great. I highly recommend it. It is definitely a fromsoftware game though, which is to say, it will thrash you at the start.

Well, you can also drive the solo players away and then it will be a group queue again. Or as you argue, no queue.
