Mwo In Background Causes Computer To Runs Slow Randomly

I'm doing something on a web browser with Mwo running minimized in the background and all of a sudden my computer slows down like somehow it's speed is halved i can tell by the music in the background playing slow the only fix is to reset my computer I'm not sure if it's the steam version of the game or just the game itself.

I run the standalone MWO client and I do not experience such problem.

yeah i'm considering switching back to the standalone i just need to find where to put the user.cfg for optimized play on the standalone.

Are you using borderless windowed mode or true full screen? Try using whichever you arent and see if it still happens.
