Hi all,

I haven't played in about a week because the 2.75mb update has been paused in Steam. I didn't check because I was busy but I just booted up Steam and it still says it's paused. Everytime I click resume, it just goes back to paused. I've cleared the download cache. Is there a general problem?

hmmm, im not exactly an expert mind you. my thought plan would be to have it check file cache [in steam library, right click mechwarrior online, go to properties, go to installed files, click verify integrity of game files] at best it'll force a redownload to everything, at worst it will say it's fine but keep not downloading. in that case I'd suggest uninstall then reinstall and see if that clears the issue, though if you have bandwidth issues that might be rougher.

Thanks. I checked into it & it turned out to be a missing file issue so I'm trying all the fixes listed on the internet. I contacted the support staff who also suggested some things to try. Hopefully I don't have to do a whole reinstall.

there was a small ghost patch a couple days after the main patch, maybe this wasn't issued on steam.

Got it fixed. I had to uninstall Steam itself then find the newest installer & reinstall. The game is working & I even got the screenshot problem I had, solved. Thanks for the assistance guys.
