I'm Just Trying One Of The Meta Sniper Builds And...

It's like I'm beating children.
And in the end I have almost full armor and still have a few rounds left to fire.
Despite the fact that this assembly has jump jets and they actually work, unlike the garbage of the inner sphere, which is constantly deficient in the number of ammo, XL engines, and the like.
I realized that the entire game I had played before, all those annoying open and boring maps and the “balance” of all the weapons in the game, was simply made for a style of play so that specifically a few sniper builds would feel comfortable.
By the way, one of the few opponents who could resist was a stalker with large lasers. And guess what? I'm talking about the recent nerf to the 4BLK stalker. They didn’t give this build even a month before they immediately nerfed it, although many write that it was a fairly optimal build at that time.

Your heavy mech stats show that you are doing even worse...
I call this thread BS.

So say you did have a couple of matches w/600dmg. That damage converts 46% itself into matchscore points, or approximately 276 MS. For the total drops in Heavies this month (13 matches) and average MS of 193 MS, multiple those two, subtract 600 (rounding up that 276 to 300M for other stuff). Then divide that total by 11 matches where ya didnt score 600 dmg with an overall 300MS for those 2 matches. That brings your overall MS to 173 MS for those other 11 Heavy games.
Long range players will tend to make an impact in their games, while others generally do not. They may have a really good game here and there but overall, they are just playing. Which there is nothing wrong with that. Lower skilled/Tier games will have a few new players, others who lack consistent situational awareness, low end equipment, health issues and/or those who do not like to max/min their mechs. Their Tier/PSR rating will reflect that, as well as how well they play with others, or simply use others like they are NPCs, each will have different results, depending on the behavior of that specific player.
Enjoy the game

you're at T4 playing with a Gauss ERLL ECM sniper against likely kitchen sink and bracket builds and LRMs, you're effectively kicking puppies, are you expecting applause
the quad BLC stalker was obscene and deserved the nerfbat

It farms hard if nobody comes to counter you. In higher tier play, they will. You'll get picked apart by fast lights/meds, pushed by dakka, or countersniped by PPFLD. These mechs get big scores against potatoes, much like LRMs. They are one of the best builds for exploiting differences in skill, but aren't broken in the grand scheme of things.
I think they've been a bit too efficient, but the changes to coolshots and upcoming cDHS changes should reign them in a bit.

Sorry for off topic but how do you look at stats? I tried clicking people’s profiles and googling and I cannot figure it out. Thank you if you reply.

The Night Gyr does it the best of the bunch IMO, at least at 2x by 2x. The MAD-IIC-D's mounts are much worse and it can't run the JJs the Gyr can. The Dire Wolf is way slower and clunkier, and while the 2x 4x build is plenty strong it's not one I personally like to drive much.
The Gyr is the mech I pull out when I get tilted at a string of bad games. :v

Yeah they each have their strengths but the Gyr is the lightest and easiest to play for sure. The DWF-C shines as a right side poker with largest alpha, and the MAD-IIC-D for total range and efficiency if it gets to stand and shoot.

let the reality of the game and tier level reveal for him.
anyway, maybe not everyone always tried their best every match, I for example (also coz of bored) recently brought 2xLRM20 + 2xATM12 build, simply to annoy red-ones, and of course end my match with a lof of red-arrow-down lol.

He has nearly 5,000 games. He is not a "new" player. He is just kicking puppies after finally discovering people in his tier don't understand ECM gauss.

I think the MAD build these days has gone HAGs, which the Night Gyr can't really do as well since it has to drop to one laser or compromise deeply (unacceptably so IMO) in other areas. I haven't played a ton since the heat nerf with all the server issues though to see if the normal gauss version is making a comeback.

The MAD-IIC-D handles it better than the NTG, but it struggled with the heat of 2HAG30+2ERLL even before the latest nerf. I haven't tried it since. I'd stick to regular gauss for sniping. HAGs are best at like ~600m imo, and then you can do 2HAG30+LPL.

NightGyr can do 2xHAG30 + 2ERLL with 4 tonne of ammo. I just checked. It's not as good heatwise, but it can do 2 x HAG20 + 2ERLL with extra heatsinks if you're a "shoot lasers more" kind of gauss/hag kind of guy.

the gyr runs fine with 2erll+2hag30. its a bit hot but can get to places the mad can't (JJs). both are fun to play in "good" matches, and both have farming potential in lower tiers I guess.
also: both really don't like lights poking them

You can choose which season (a month is a season) and what weight class or global
or easier to read but less specific stats from Jarls (which rip them off this site after season)
