Depending on your graphics settings the chrismas mechlab has neon like red, green and blue colors lighting up some areas.

When you change things on a mech and save it refreshes the mech picture. So you probably changed something on these mechs that triggered the portrait refresh.

OMG.

Well. I knew how coding is going in Japan now. They steal money and throw work down to another place, then throw down again and again. Eventually work is doing by low-paid Vietnamese, without English with very bad code. And huge money just disappear on several levels.

I hope, its not PGI case.

yeah but it's only present on these two in my mech select

They are new, so it is either using some default picture (which would be using the holiday themed mechlab) or the game takes some screenshots by default for you on startup or something. Those pictures you can alter since they are stored in your saved game folder stuff with your other settings (like keymaps), but pretty sure it should change if you save changes to the mechs. Worst case you wait for the holiday mechlab to go away and resave them to remove the lights, but I believe any mechs that have been changed since last patch will have that depending on your settings.

Wonder if it's connected to what's been happening recently? Not sure how it would be.

I guess that after they remove that junk from my Mechlab in January, everything will return to normal.
