I suck at this game, I know! But, part of the fun is improving my game. But, how can I improve if I dont know what or where to improve.

I wish I can access last 3 battles and be able to see the stats, timeline and position of the game play of teammates and opponents on the map.

I really wish!

I was walking down the the ramp and suddenly my right arm and right torso are gone. Almost all of my weapons are gone. And then, I died. I can't see who hit me the most cos I can't scroll down the damage report. There is no way of knowing. This is why I left 10 years ago.

Would be nice to have an improved damage report.

But sadly, it's not fun anymore. So, I will be leaving soon again.
Wasted money on 3 legendary mechs!

As a relatively new player and someone who is still trying to learn the game, this would be absolutely amazing, there is so much happening in the game all the time and it gets so very overwhelming trying to figure out what is even going on Posted Image . Sometimes you just get exploded and you have no idea what did you do to deserve it Posted Image.

Damage taken - For example with my Torsie1 I always take 700+- damage, no matter if I die or not. In one round I explode right at the start and its 700, another round I survive with one leg and one shoulder and one heat sink and its 700 damage again.Posted Image That little list showing what happened to you when you die is also bit problematic, because its short it doesnt show everything, almost every time it shows damage from my gun exploding. I KNOW Posted Image it explodes from sneezing, I need more informations than this Posted Image .

What shot me - List of everything that shot me and how much damage it did to me. I am for example struggling with my Laser AMS, I like it, because it helps other people, but I am not sure if it actually works and it takes up too much space Posted Image. I would like to see how much damage from missiles I actually take and compare it before adding or removing it.

Where it shot me - I would like to know which parts of me take damage, I am trying torsie-twisting Posted Image but I explode all the time anyway and on my Torsie1 losing one of my sides usually means kabooom anyway, so knowing if I did well or if I took most of the damage on one side would be great. Or sometimes I get exploded and it just say "engine destroyed" yes, very helpful thank you, but how did it get destroyed? Did my gun do it, or did someone shoot me in the bum?

Who shot me - I thiiiink this would probably make some people bit angry Posted Image. But it would be nice if I could see a list of people who shot me, or at least which mech they used or at least what type it was. I would like to know if it because I was dueling with someone on the opposite side of the map, or if someone was sneaking up on me.

Damage done - From what I have seen so far, pretty much the only thing that matters in the end of every battle is how much damage you did. No matter what map, game mode or mech, you just need to pew pew to the maximum. With this in mind, its pretty disappointing all we have is "damage done - number".

What I shot - This would be super useful to see, little list that would show which of your weapons did how much damage. I constantly keep shuffling my weapons, heat sinks, ammo boxes and other stuff around. Recently I did a big mixup changing between C-Gauss Rifle, C-H.A. Gauss 20 and C-H.A. Gauss 30 with 1 to 6 lasers of varying lengths, shapes, sizes and colours in combination. At the end of every match I had 600+- damagePosted Image . That was very confusing to me. So putting 2 more lasers on doesnt change my damage at all? Does all my damage come from lasers or from the big guns? Knowing bit more would be pretty goodPosted Image .

Where I shot - Showing what exactly I shoot at would be super mega very much awesome, especially for new players. I am trying to aim, but I usually end up just aiming over there and hoping I hit Posted Image. Especially sometimes it seems like its more worth it just shooting at the middle, instead of focusing specific parts. Yes component destroyed, yay, but what?! Posted Image So many little mechs running around with no hands that hitting someone and getting "component destroyed" while breaking empty arm means I just wasted my shot Posted Image . Knowing if my attempt for aiming at specific parts was really worth it would be great.

Who I shot - Sometimes I keep shooting at someone and it feels like it has no effect, I will do full blast with all my guns and they dont even go yellow. My guns can be very strong sometimes and sometimes I walk around the corner and shoot someone and kill them, but then I notice 8 people from my team standing around, so I got kill, but probably did 1% of the work. It would be nice to know if my 600 damage was worth it, or if I just poked 12 people for 50 damage and had no impact on the outcome of the game.Posted Image

HEADSHOOOOTS -Other games I tried playing yell at you all the time if you poke someone in the eye, but this game is completely quiet about this and you need to visit your achievements to see if you hit someone, getting that little message for successful headshots right when it happens would be great.Posted Image

Accuracy - I am still struggling with lasers vs. pew pew guns. My Big Gauss Guns do lot of damage, but they also shoot 12 projectiles and you need to hit with all of them, so the other Gauss Gun deals less damage, but it shoots only 1 projectile, so its easier to actually hit things with it Posted Image and not waste any of the damage and ammunition. And knowing if my accuracy got better from when I started playing would also be nice.Posted Image

Maybe it doesnt have to all be in the game, but you could open the history here on forums in your profile, like you can with with maps and stuff.

Record your gameplay with OBS or similar software. Then go over it and review.

Most of the time when a T5 player claims that it turns out to be their own lack of knowledge about either game mechanics or mechs (or both).

It may impact the performance too hard on some PCs, MWO is known for poor performance at it's own, without any other programs running alongside it...

In which case there are hardware capture solutions too.

At this point there should be a built-in demo record system that would allow players to record demos of their game without having to mess with anything outside MWO. IIRC there's something already existing for comp play, but i don't really know.

Which would be subject to similar performance concerns as you've described earlier.

Sounds like you're confusing lobby spectators with recording functionality.
